Call for Papers
The International Conference on Distributed Computing and Networking (ICDCN) is a premier international conference dedicated to addressing advances in Distributed Computing and Communication Networks. The 28th edition of this conference will be held at the National Institute of Technology Karnataka (NITK) Surathkal, India. Surathkal, a coastal town along the Arabian Sea near Mangaluru, is known for its serene beaches, scenic landscapes, and vibrant academic atmosphere. National Institute of Technology Karnataka, Surathkal is one of India's premier engineering institutions, renowned for its strong academic programs, research excellence, and picturesque campus overlooking the sea.
ICDCN 2027 will feature a highly selective technical program with refereed papers, distinguished keynotes, an industrial track, workshops, tutorials, posters, demos, and a doctoral symposium on emerging topics in distributed computing and networking.

Proceedings
The previous instances of ICDCN proceedings along with all the satellite events (posters, demo, workshops, etc.) have been published by The ACM International Conference Proceeding Series (ICPS), which is indexed by ACM, DBLP, Scopus, and other indexing bodies. The previous ICDCN proceedings are available through the ACM digital library.
ACM has introduced a new open-access publishing model for the International Conference Proceedings Series (ICPS). Authors based at institutions that are not yet part of the ACM Open program and do not qualify for a waiver will be required to pay an article processing charge (APC) to publish their ICPS article in the ACM Digital Library. To determine whether or not an APC will be applicable to your article, please follow the detailed guidance here: acm.org/publications/icps/author-guidance .
Further information may be found on the ACM website:
Best Paper Award
The conference will consider awarding Best Paper Awards to outstanding submissions selected by the program committee.
Submission Instructions
LaTeX Template
All submissions must use the official LaTeX ACM article template acmart.cls,
version 2.16 or greater, with the following document class declaration.
Templates are available at
acm.org/publications/proceedings-template.
Paper Length
Regular Papers should not exceed 10 pages (double-column), including figures, tables, and references, in standard ACM format. They may include a clearly marked appendix with additional details necessary for validating results (e.g., technical proofs, supplementary experimental results).
Short Papers must not exceed 5 pages (double-column), including all figures, tables, and references, in standard ACM format.
Double-Blind Review
The conference will employ a double-blind reviewing process. Submissions must not reveal author identities in any form. Author names, affiliations, and email addresses should not appear anywhere in the submission. Do not omit or anonymize critical references. Use third-person references to your prior work (e.g., replace "as we have shown before" with "as shown before in [X]").
Submission Portal
All submissions must be made through the EasyChair portal: easychair.org/conferences?conf=icdcn2027 . At least one author of each accepted paper must register for the conference and present the work.
Generative AI Policy
The use of generative AI software tools is permitted in accordance with ACM guidelines: acm.org/publications/policies/frequently-asked-questions .
Conflict of Interest
Indications of conflicts of interest will be required in the submission form. A conflict of interest is limited to the following:
- A family member or close friend.
- A Ph.D. advisor or advisee (no time limit), or a postdoctoral or undergraduate mentor or mentee within the past five years.
- A person with the same affiliation.
- A person involved in an alleged incident of harassment. (It is not required that the incident be reported.)
- Frequent collaborators, or collaborators who have jointly published papers within the last two years.
If you feel that you have a valid reason for a conflict of interest not listed above, contact the PC Co-Chairs.
All submissions must be made through the EasyChair portal. Please ensure your paper follows all formatting and anonymization guidelines before uploading.
