Call for Demos and Exhibits

ICDCN 2027, the 28th International Conference on Distributed Computing and Networking, welcomes submissions of industrial applications and research prototypes for live demonstration in the Demos and Exhibits session. We invite both industry and academia to showcase innovative technologies, platforms, simulations, frameworks, analysis tools, working prototypes, and proof-of-concept implementations for emerging applications related to distributed computing and networking technologies.

Proposals will be selected based on technical merit, innovation, and potential to stimulate discussion. This session offers a platform to introduce new work and interact directly with conference attendees.

Accepted demos must be presented in person — remote presentations are not available. Accepted submissions will be published in the ICDCN proceedings as 2-page extended abstracts.

What to Showcase

Industrial Applications

Live demos of industry-grade deployments and production-ready systems in distributed computing or networking.

Research Prototypes

Working prototypes and proof-of-concept implementations demonstrating novel research ideas and early results.

Tools & Frameworks

Platforms, simulation environments, analysis tools, and frameworks that support distributed computing research.

Emerging Applications

Proof-of-concept systems for next-generation distributed and networked applications targeting future use cases.

Topics of Interest

We welcome all topics that align with the ICDCN 2027 main conference topics of interest. See the Call for Papers for the full list of topics.

Submission Guidelines

Page Limit & Format

Word and LaTeX templates are available at acm.org/publications/proceedings-template . The camera-ready page limit is also 2 pages including references.

Single-Blind Review

Paper reviewing is single-blind. Submissions should list author names, affiliations, and email addresses on the front page.

Submission Portal

Submit via EasyChair at easychair.org/conferences/?conf=icdcn2027 . Select "ICDCN 2027 — Demos and Exhibits" as the submission track.

ACM Open Access Publishing

Important note to authors about the new ACM open access publishing model

ACM has introduced a new open access publishing model for the International Conference Proceedings Series (ICPS). Authors based at institutions not yet part of the ACM Open program and who do not qualify for a waiver will be required to pay an article processing charge (APC) to publish in the ACM Digital Library. To determine whether an APC will be applicable, see the guidance at acm.org/publications/icps/author-guidance .
