Call for Posters
ICDCN 2027, the 28th International Conference on Distributed Computing and Networking, welcomes poster submissions showcasing promising early research works on novel distributed computing and networking technologies and applications. We seek participation from both industry and academia.
Selection will be based on a short abstract, evaluated on technical merit and innovation as well as the potential to stimulate interesting discussions and exchange of ideas at the conference. The poster session is meant to introduce new or ongoing work and provide opportunities for authors to interact directly with attendees.
Selected posters must be presented in person — no remote presentation will be available. Accepted submissions will be included in the ICDCN proceedings as a 2-page extended abstract.
Why Submit a Poster?
Early Research
Share promising or ongoing work — preliminary results are sufficient. Completed work is not required.
Direct Interaction
Engage directly with conference attendees, get feedback, and build connections with researchers worldwide.
ACM Publication
Accepted posters appear in the ICDCN proceedings as 2-page extended abstracts in the ACM Digital Library.
Industry & Academia
Open to both industry practitioners and academic researchers — diverse perspectives are strongly encouraged.
Topics of Interest
We welcome all topics that align with the ICDCN 2027 main conference topics of interest. See the Call for Papers for the full list of topics.
Poster Abstract
Preliminary Results Welcome
Poster abstracts should report on research where at least some preliminary results are available, but they need not necessarily describe completed work.
In-Person Presentation
An easel will be provided for all posters. Selected posters must be presented in person — no remote presentation is available. At least one author must register and present at the conference.
Submission & Formatting Instructions

Poster submissions must be no more than 2 pages in a double-column format. All figures, appendices, and references must fit within this limit. Submissions that do not meet the page limit, size, and formatting requirements will not be reviewed.
ACM Proceedings Format
Submissions must be formatted according to the official ACM Proceedings format with all fonts embedded. ACM uses 9-pt fonts in all conference proceedings. Word and LaTeX templates are available at acm.org/publications/proceedings-template . The camera-ready page limit is also 2 pages including references.
Single-Blind Review
Paper reviewing is single-blind. Submissions should list author names, affiliations, and email addresses on the front page.

ACM Open Access Publishing
Important note to authors about the new ACM open access publishing model
ACM has introduced a new open access publishing model for the International Conference Proceedings Series (ICPS). Authors based at institutions that are not yet part of the ACM Open program and do not qualify for a waiver will be required to pay an article processing charge (APC) to publish their ICPS article in the ACM Digital Library. To determine whether or not an APC will be applicable to your article, please see the guidance at acm.org/publications/icps/author-guidance .
